Quinn Dobbins
I started Jet Mentor with one goal in mind: to help the next generation of aviators navigate the same challenges I faced when launching my aviation career. From choosing the right flight program to understanding industry expectations and building the right connections, I know how overwhelming the journey can be, especially when you’re just starting out.
One thing I quickly realized is that the aviation industry offers far more career paths than most people realize. Beyond becoming a commercial airline pilot, there are rewarding opportunities in corporate aviation, charter operations, airport management, flight instruction, aircraft sales, dispatch, safety, and more. But those options aren’t always obvious when you’re in school or just entering the field.
Today, I work as a Sales Representative at Bell Helicopter, where I’ve been able to stay connected to the industry I’m passionate about while learning the business side of aviation. I graduated from Purdue University’s aviation program and am currently pursuing my MBA to continue growing both personally and professionally.
